LG Optimus Black arriving in the UK market as soon as next week

One more glossy Android widget is on its way to reveal in the UK market  may be  next week. The sleeky LG Optimus Black is all set for a mid-May commencement, as per sources. Why mobile service providers have to be so fussy about exact commencement details is a bit of concern, but its is anticipated that at least Orange and T-Mobile will be betting on Black. Anticipate other operators to follow, despite their present no comment stance.

As we found out in our full review earlier this week, the Black is good but not exactly top of the array, so it's no surprise Orange will offer it free on chosen tariffs.  You'd anticipate T-Mobile to follow suit what with it being the same company, however all we can see so far is that it's coming soon you don't say? and will be obtainable on a tariff offering at least 300 minutes talk-time and 300 texts.

Most of the folks liked LG Optimus Black inspite it not quite living up to the buzz, basically where that stunning display is taken into the account. A bit behind the times Android 2.2 need not be a big issue as it will be upgradable to edition 2.3. It has a decent enough snapper and multimedia capabilities and if you don't compare its build quality too closely with the likes of the iPhone 4 or Incredible S, you should be happy enough.

It may not be worth stumping up £400 to purchase it outright, but if you are in line for a novel contract widget it's worth considering. It may still suffer in the sun, but if you are going to use it in Britain this summer you truly need not worry.  Definitely, we'll let you know when it touches down on British soil or at least makes it to retail and aptly where you can purchase it.
