HTC Evo 3D: All set for a UK launch in July

A July launch date has been finalized for HTC Evo 3D, this device is going to have a competition with LG Optimus 3D, which is also slated to come in July.

Both the handsets run on Android 2.3 Gingerbread, and both dual-core processor- but Evo 3D comes with 1.2GHz chip whereas LG Optimus has 1GHz of processor though it’s hardly going to make any difference in normal use.

Both the devices have dual-cameras and can capture 3D pictures and 3D videos. They both can capture 3D video in 720p, but LG Optimus can also capture 2D videos in 1080p.

You can easily see the 3D effect on both the handsets with the help of Auto-stereoscopic screens and it’s same to what we have seen on Nintendo 3DS. It’s going to be a very tough competition between both the gadgets and the winner will be decided only by which has the better integration of 3D technology.

For many 3D is a technology which they love to watch in special movies, using it constantly on a phone is very unlikely for them. Others say that rather going for a technology which they cannot use easily, it’s better to look towards powerhouses of smart phones such as: Apple iPhone 4, Samsung Galaxy S2 or HTC Sensation.

Till now there have been no update which networks are going to offer Evo 3D and on how much price, except Vodafone which recently announced that they will stock the device.
