Samsung Galaxy S2 more famous than iPhone 4

It has been two months since Samsung Galaxy S2 has been reigning the charts and has been declared more popular than iPhone 4, according to sales rankings from price comparonistas uSwitch.

For the month of June this Samsung device has been put ahead of iPhone 4, HTC Sensation, HTC Desire and Blackberry Curve 8520 by different mobile comparison sites which draws ranking on the basis of sales and popularity stats.

It did not came as a surprise to anyone, as we all know that Galaxy S2 is definitely a powerhouse with 4.3 inch Super AMOLED display, 8MP camera and a powerful 1.2GHz processor.

Gaining the popularity chart is definitely a good news for Samsung, but that doesn’t mean that its bad for Apple. It might not be on the top of the chart, but still it’s the talk of town with some impressive smart phone features. Up by four places from last month, HTC is slowly and steadily gaining peoples interest.

As the chart keeps an eye on both sales and online interests, this doesn’t means that Galaxy S2 is selling more units than iPhone. Mobile market has its own dynamics and so it is very much unpredictable to know what you get to see by the next month. However, you can wait for the chart from uSwitch.

According to the media Samsung is also planning to come out with Samsung Galaxy S2 Plus which is going to have a 1.4GHz of processor. Don’t know how much is it true or when it’s going to be launched, but definitely we need to keep an eye that how much is it going to affect the popularity of both the iPhone 4 and the Galaxy S2.
